The 7-Step WeldTrack™ Inspection Thinking Workflow
1. Project Setup
Start by identifying the project, applicable documents, inspection scope, and assigned responsibilities.
2. WPS/PQR Review
Review the welding procedure information and qualification records that may apply to the work. Final verification must be made against approved project documents and qualified personnel judgment.
3. Fit-Up / Visual Pre-Weld Review
Document joint configuration, fit-up dimensions, alignment, preheat requirements, and other relevant observations before welding begins.
4. Discontinuity Logging
